I am the founder architect of JAL Architects based in Sydney. I have nearly 18 years' experience both nationally and internationally specializing in small to large scale residential and commercial buildings. Detail professional portfolio covers -
• Preliminary design development for client's approval, • Design, documentation, design coordination and construction supervision • Development of Construction Certificate (CC) drawings • Preparation of Construction Drawings • Project co-ordination and management, including attending the technical meetings with clients, different consultants, and authority liaison etc. • Site inspections and Monitoring the developments of the ongoing projects.

I am a 3rd-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Geography and Planning at Macquarie University. I have a decade's experience in architectural and town planning consultancy in Australia and mostly abroad. My work received the best design award from the International Design Summer School (IDSS) 2010 from Tongji University in Shanghai. I am also the recipient of the prestigious Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) Prize in 2011 and 2012.
Since September 2013, I have been working at JAL Architects. My job responsibilities include -
• Preliminary design development under the guidance of Team Leader • Assisting in design and documentation for DA applications to Councils and Private Certifiers and preparation of construction drawings • 3D visualizations.
